Cloudy and gloomy. Slept a bit later this morning as I planned to go to the barber and have my hair (singular) cut. When I do that, I always treat myself to a shave also, hence the "sleep over" as Sally used to call it when at Pine Manor. Went downtown this noon on some errands. Met Charlie McClelland and took him to lunch with me over to Longley's new lunch room on Elm Street between Church and Orange Streets. We had a long letter from Sally today (from Chicago). She says Peter is better now that the worry of the opening of the theatre is over
