A beautiful day but quite cold. Tessie and I all alone for the first time. Mother and Father Peck laid away since last Thanksgiving Day and Sally and Peter in Chicago. We do miss her so fearfully today. We had breakfast then drove down to West Haven and called on Bert and Jess Hodges at Harley's (Bert is going on to St. Louis tonight). We then went on down to Norwalk and had dinner with Alice and Fred Lockwood. Walter, Sally, and Madeline Ballard also Mrs. Ballard and Walter's brother were also there. We had a wonderful dinner in their new home. We drove back and stopped at Auntie "B"s and found Harry, Clair, and "Billy" Bill there from Syracuse so all in all we have seen many of the family today. Tried to call Sally and Peter on the telephone today but she was not home. She ate Thanksgiving dinner with Edna Crittenden Hall in Chicago
