I went in to the office, took care of my mail, then Mr. and Mrs. Arthur C. Morse called at the store for Polly and I. Then we came out home and got Tessie and started in the Morse's car for the New Ocean House at Swampscott where the Fall Conclave of the 30th District will be held. We came by the way of New London to Westerly and had lunch at the Shelter Island Country Club. It was such a fine meal at such a fine place. We came on to Providence then through to Swampscott. We had dinner here. Found District Governor and Mrs. Richard E. Dodge already here, also some of the New Haven friends
