Bessie Fox here to breakfast. Ralph Fox came down from Meriden and they both started for Washington D.C. and home via Bear Mountain Bridge route. We were so glad to have them for awhile. Mr. Chamberlain and I started to select our Wall Papers for our No. 3 Book. We have been delayed as he has been out on the road. Stayed down town to dinner tonight and took Mr. C.H. Marsh with me. Later, we met with Harley and we presented a proposition to him to put in a line of paint at his new store corner on Broadway and York Square. He has just moved from Elm Street, made necessary by Yale University tearing down the buildings on Elm Street for college expansion
