Saturday, October 11, 1930 We received a cable from Bert Hodges, Blackpool, England saying that Aunt Jane had passed away. She was the oldest of mother's sisters and was in her middle eighties. Our mother, her next youngest sister, has been dead nearly fifty years. We cabled our love and sympathy, also had Coombs cable flowers. We wired Aunt Mame + Lillian and I telephoned to Alice Drew Lockwood. We also sent a night letter to Sally in Chicago. She was the last one from this country to see Aunt Jane [Prev](1930_10_10.md) - [Next](1930_10_12.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1NI31ValO3Jk25BxFPgmG1yE5kCT6zfhC">
