Wednesday, October 15, 1930 Welcome rain this morning and it has rained all day off and on. We do need it so badly. Hope it will rain for another forty eight hours. Wells in the country are dry that have never been known to be dry before. Luncheon this noon at the Quinnipiack Club with Floyd Newton and Fred Dawless planning for the Rotary Spring Conference to be held in New Haven next May. Home tonight to dinner then Tessie took a lot of our dahlia blossoms over to Violette's and had a visit with her.
