Clear and cold today. Tessie drove in to St. Paul's Church, I went over to our new church here in Spring Glen. This was a most important service as today they asked the residents of Spring Glen to sign a roll signifying their interest in a new church out here and promising no desire to influence loyalties held elsewhere. I was glad to show my interest by signing the book. Amy Warren was there also and walked home with me and we asked her to dinner. So she stayed with us. Then we all went up to the cemetery and put our dahlias on Mother and Father Peck's grave and on Doris' too and Lois' little baby. Also Steve Warrens' grave. Aletha, Mrs. Knapp, and two children called
