Sunday, October 26, 1930 A beautiful day today, wish we had weather like this yesterday. Tessie went into St. Paul's Church and I went to Calvary. Mr. Camp preached his farewell sermon today. He is leaving to go to Oakland California. Attended a meeting of the finance committee after service. Tessie and I had dinner at the Prattonia then drove down to Norwalk to see Fred and Alice in their new home. They had gone up to see Auntie "B" so we drove back up there and visited there all together. We then came on home and had supper together. After "Seth and Mother Parker" on the radio, we called up Sarah in Chicago. We got her at once. Even heard operator ring her phone. Could hear her just as plain as if she was downtown.
