With the Chandlers at New London. We got up at 6.30 and dressed. They got up too and got breakfast for us and we left there at 7-30 and drove to New Haven. I arrived at the office at nine o'clock. Mr. Matlack here from Philadelphia. Met with the New Haven Rotary Club at Hotel Taft. Mr. Westerfield of New York was the speaker. He is secretary of the New York Stock Exchange. Had dinner at home tonight then Tessie drove in to the Shubert Theatre and saw Madge Kennedy play "Michael and Mary". We did enjoy it so. Prof. Wm. Lyon Phelps told us today that yesterday he had Gene and Mrs. Turney at his house for lunch. He said he went up to the Yale Infirmary and took Albie Booth down to his house and for lunch with the Turneys
