Wednesday, October 29, 1930 Rained all day today and we need a lot more of it after the great shortage all Summer. T.P.H. drove to New London again today to have more work done on her teeth by Bob Chandler. I had supper down at Calvary Church then went on the trolly car out to West Haven to a meeting of West Haven men for the formation of a Rotary Club. We met at the Masonic Hall. Walter Spencer is the special representative to organize this club. Don Adams, Fred Dawless, Don North, Floyd Newton, and I spoke to them. They voted to organize and elected a board of directors and officers.
