Sunshine and shadow today. This is the Sunday observance of the New Haven Grays 114th Anniversary. Peter took me into Calvary Church in the Packard. My foot still painful. I had to use a cane. We had a good turn out at church both Veterans and Actives. Mr. Camp preached a fine sermon to us. After church, I went up to Dr. Baldwins office and had him strap up my foot. John Gill took me up in his car, waited for me, and then we had lunch together and then to the Armory. The Veterans and Actives formed moved out of the Armory and had their photo taken then to the cemeteries. It seemed so funny to be marching from and returning to the Armory on Goffe Street after so many years on Meadow Street. T.P.H. called for me at the Armory. Sally and Peter are madly packing their things to go to Chicago Wednesday next
