Thursday, September 11, 1930 Cloudy and warmer today. Spent nearly all day working in our Wall Paper Books. Had lunch at the Quinnipiack Club. Harry Lovett of the F.W. Devoe Company called on us today. He has not been here for a long time. Tessie called for me tonight and we came home to dinner. Before eating, I watered the dahlia beds as it is so very dry. The men are still busy packing Sally's and Peter's furniture to go to Chicago.
