Friday, September 12, 1930 Cloudy and muddy. Assembling the No. 1-A Wall Paper Book for 1931. Making it into a tag book. Had lunch at the Quinnipiack Club. Came home at three P.M., dressed in my cutaway suit, took Tess and Amy Warren over to Plymouth Church to the wedding of Rev. Victor Brown and Peggy Tullock. Went to the reception afterwards at St. Ronan Street. Lovely wedding. This evening, we went over to Violette's and took her a gift (a locket and chain) for her sixtieth birthday. Clayton and Lota were there too.
