Saturday, September 13, 1930 Cloudy all morning. Cleared a bit early afternoon. Then started raining about five P.M. We closed at one o'clock. I had lunch in Longleys then drove up to the new Armory on Goffe Street to meet with our comrades as today is our 114th Anniversary. Mayor Carl F. Ballmann, Captain Harold N. Dorr, and I went down to Beecher and Bennetts to the funeral of Judson M. Minor. He was at church with us on last Sunday and died very suddenly on Thursday. Our outing was held at Hotel Penobroke, Woodmont and we had a most happy time together. I was the last speaker at the dinner then ducked out and drove home arriving at 11-15. Changed from outing togs to evening clothes and hurried over to the new Spring Glen Club. Tonight is the opening night of this fine new building [Prev](1930_09_12.md) - [Next](1930_09_14.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1TI5Z6VVYaRhoUVkGFo1FYa723iArBF77">
