Monday, September 22, 1930 Clear and cool and lovely but we do need rain so badly. Stopped on our way into town this morning and said goodby to Lota Curtiss. She is returning to Smith College for her junior year. Richmond is also home. He has spent the Summer at Keene, N.H. at the Yale Forestry School Camps. Mrs. Frank Smith called Tessie up and invited her to ride up to Northampton with her as she was taking her daughter back to college. Mr. Chamberlain worked all day with me pricing the new Wall Paper line. I got supper downtown and worked till 9-30.
