Tuesday, September 23, 1930 Cool and clear. Attended luncheon of the New Haven Rotary Club at Hotel Taft. District Governor Richard E. Dodge of Storrs, Conn. made his official visit to our club today. President Floyd Newton asked me to introduce him, which I was proud and happy to do. He gave us a fine Rotary message. Mrs. Donald A. Adams gave a lunch for Mrs. Dodge and invited Tessie also. I am home tonight not feeling so well. My "tummy" is off the hooks.
