Wednesday, September 24, 1930 Another fine day but no rain and we do need it so badly. This has been a hectic day. It began at 1-30 this morning when I was called out of bed to go bail for a friend of mine who found himself in the New Haven "lock up" for having given some checks without the necessary funds in the bank. It has made a busy day. Tessie came in and called for me tonight and brought me home to a light supper on account of my stomach upset. We had a telegram from Sally that their furniture had arrived in Chicago [Prev](1930_09_23.md) - [Next](1930_09_25.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/11CC9DofR9gzJPrkGtTgBY8fdgube-Nf4">
