Very hot and sultry. Thermometer above 80° in the shade. Harley and I drove up to Pittsfield, Mass. then to Adams, Mass. and back to Pittsfield and home. We had our lunch at Adams. We called on customers at both cities. Had a letter from Sally saying that their furniture had arrived in Chicago but that they had not yet received it from the freight station
