Sunday, September 28, 1930 T.P.H. and I got up early. Had breakfast, then she drove me in to Calvary to church school. I taught the class of Mrs. Charles T. Lincoln. Tessie came in again to St. Paul's Church. Violette, Clayton, and Richmond were at Calvary, the first time she had been since Ruth died. After church, we went up to the Prattonia to dinner then called on Grant and Helen Noble and saw their new baby boy. We came home and marked the dahlias so that we would know the lovely ones. I went into Yale Hope Mission and spoke to the men at their evening service. Wrote to Sally today. They are settling their new home at Chicago. We changed from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time this morning. --- (Violette and Clayton were in church on [2/9/1930](1930_02_09.md) and [3/16/1930](1930_03_16.md) but it's been half a year and Vernon has likely forgotten.
