Tuesday, April 7, 1931 Cold rain all day long. Went up and called on Dr. Alice Porter Ford. Her father is buried today and as he was a veteran Gray, we were furnishing the bearers. Active and honorary Ted Crabb, Carl Ballmann, Capt. Rounds Ban Baker, Charlie McClelland, and I acted as honorary bearers. Attended Rotary at Hotel Taft at noon. Miss Marion Howlett of Washington D.C. spoke on South America. Had supper down town tonight and attended a special meeting of the New Haven Paint and Oil Club at 207 Orange to discuss the schedule on white lead. Came home on the trolly car. This is the 34th anniversary of our engagement. [Prev](1931_04_06.md) - [Next](1931_04_08.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1sx3oLtJxJEus5hkA4I7FvXkgxSXUhoe0">
