Another fine day. Busy at the store all day long. Had lunch with Russ Ragan of Springfield, Secretary of the Rotary Club there. Called on Irving Michaels and talked about the silver ware for Governor Dick Dodge gift. Tessie called for me and we had dinner at home. Worked all the evening on my report to Calvary Church recommending the Rev. Sankey Lo Blanton for pastor. The church will meet and act on Wednesday evening next, April 15th. Nicholas Longworth of Ohio, Speaker of the House of Representatives at Washington D.C. died today of pneumonia.
