Saturday, April 11, 1931 Rain this morning. Cleared off later but a cold wind is flowing. Busy at the office till 2-30 then I took a trolly car to Yale field. Met Ed and Alice Cole and one of her bridesmaids and we all attended the Yale - Dartmouth baseball game. On account of the cold windy day, the game was not very tight. Yale won 9 to 2. Nice to be out of doors though. Ed Cole brought me home in his coupe. Cleaned up the cellar a bit tonight to make room for the painters who started to paint the house today.
