Monday, April 20, 1931 Warm and clear. Luncheon at the Waldorf. Lunch on Church St. Came home early and met Governor Dick and Stella Dodge who stopped here and changed their clothes and went down to Norwalk, Conn. to the Second Anniversary and Ladies Night of the Norwalk Rotary Club. We had a fine dinner at the Norwalk Country Club and enjoyed a fine musical program. Governor Dick Dodge and I did the "speachifying".
