Thursday, April 23, 1931 Glorious rain today and we did need it. Things began to be too dry. Went up to the Springfield store by train today. Too wet to drive enjoyably. I called up the Newells and found the baby "Newell Richardson" was getting along nicely. He now weight 9 3/4 pounds, which is a good gain. I came home on the train, also arriving at 6-10 P.M. Tessie met me at the station and we came out home for dinner. [Prev](1931_04_22.md) - [Next](1931_04_24.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1wHVwVEdgzakAmEQzmgWvJY0Hax--eStr">
