Saturday, April 25, 1931 Very chill again today. Worked all day up to 5-30. We held our monthly salesmens meeting today. Discussed our position as concerning the falling off of our sales. I went down to the Taft Hotel and arranged for rooms for special guests at Rotary Spring Conference. Came home tonight on trolly. Had dinner at home. We read in the newspaper today with a deep sense of loss of the burning of the Hotel Aspinwall at Lenox, Mass. We have had so many good times there that it seems like the passing of an old friend.
