Very cold this morning. Thermometer down to 32° here at the house, lower at other places in Hamden. Had lunch at P. Ring's on Elm Street. Harley went to Springfield store today driving up. I went down to Calvary Church to supper and stayed for the annual meeting of the church school. Reports were heard from all departments and organized classes. I came home on the trolly car. Yale University started today to tear down South Sheffield Hall on the corner of College St. and Prospect Streets. A new building with an imposing tower will be built on the site.
