Thursday, August 6, 1931 Hot! Hot! Hot!!! Thermometer again up to 94° official. Much hotter on the street. Mother and Sarah went down town today and transferred her money from the Savings Bank to the Mechanics Bank so as to be ready to pay the hospital bills. They met me at six o'clock and we drove down to the Indian Paint House at Stony Creek for supper. Met Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Smith there. After supper, we sat out on the rocks and got cooled off. We then came home as Sarah began to be tired. Stopped at our drug store and got some ice cream. Marion Thomas Tiffany's son was born at New Haven hospital tonight at about nine o'clock. It weighed about eight pounds. She is getting along nicely. [Prev](1931_08_05.md) - [Next](1931_08_07.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1Q17ru2zKjlbSCvjPCemG3sfNIE6fp6nT">
