Thursday, August 20, 1931 A fine clear day today. Took the Packard in with me to York Street to have it washed and have the oil changed. George Hanbury came down today from Newington to go over the Hobb's line of Wall Paper with us. Harley, Mr. Hanbury, and I went out to the Lawn Club to a luncheon of the Building Material men of the city to discuss combined advertising to induce people to buy homes and materials from local merchants rather than chain stores. Came home to dinner. Peter has gone back to Stockbridge for tonight and tomorrow. So we three are at home together again tonight. We have a feeling that it won't be long now before baby comes. We hope so for Sally's sake. May God bless and keep her safely through it.
