Very cool again today. Partly cloudy. I had luncheon at the Graduate's Club with Don Adams, Al Colvin of New London, and Herbert Holland of Derby. We met to make up a budget for the Fall Conclave of Rotary Clubs of the 30th District. Sarah is still waiting to go to the hospital for her baby. Tessie, Peter, and Sally met me in town at six o'clock and we had supper at Longley's on Elm Street then went over to the Paramount Theatre to see "Huckleberry Finn". Sarah got pretty tired so we came home after the picture. The Ramsey MacDonald government resigned in England today and King George is setting up a coalition government to meet the financial crisis and try and balance the budget. They have a deficit of $600,000,000.
