Thursday, August 27, 1931 In to the office and a little later "Peter" came over from the New Haven hospital and took me back with him to see Sally and "Little Peter". Sarah had a fairly good night, much better than we could have hoped for her. Miss Burritt, her nurse, is giving her great care. Little Peter is so wonderful. We love him so much already. We have had many telegrams and messages of congratulations. I took the 1-45 train for Boston this afternoon, via "Shore Line". Arrived Boston at 5-30. Pouring rain up here so took taxi to Boston City Club to a dinner and meeting of New England Wall Paper men. Took the sleeper at 11-30 for New Haven and home. Slept fairly well en route and had a good sleep after the train arrived in New Haven yard.
