A beautiful day, clear and cool. Peter got up early, had some breakfast, and started off in "Toby" for Stockbridge. I found a flat tire on the Packard so fixed it and drove in town to Calvary Church to hear Rev. E.M. Poteat Jr. preach his fifth and last sermon on the 23rd Chapter of Matthew. Auntie B came up from Bridgeport to hear him and as she was in town we arranged for she and Violette to go over and see Sarah and the baby. They were glad to go and Sarah was so glad to see them. Tessie and I went over this afternoon and found her in fine spirits. I held our most wonderful grandson again today. he is so dear. Betty Beebe Robb called and left some flowers for Sally.
