Wednesday, December 2,1931 Fine and cold. Thermometer below freezing all day long. We sold our big five ton truck today and made arrangements to have our goods delivered by a motor trucking concern who will cover the state every day. They paid us $600.00 in cash and will take $1200.00 in delivery charges. This plan will give our out of town customers a much better service. Mrs. Wood and I had lunch at Calvary Church this noon and tonight Tessie went down there again to supper. She went from there down to St. Paul's Church to a big missionary meeting. I stayed at Calvary to prayer meeting then I went out on the trolly car to the Edgewood Club to a smoker and heard Dick Lovell talk on "Football".
