Sunday, December 6, 1931 Cold and gray and cloudy all day. Slept late after the dance at the Spring Glen Club last night. We had breakfast and I drove in town to Calvary Church. Taught my mens class and attended church service and communion. Mr. Blanton preached and he and Mr. Binkly conducted the communion service. Came home to dinner and Tessie made a cake for the Spring Glen Club supper tea. I took it up. Aletha and Larry Stone called while out for a walk.
