Tuesday, December 8, 1931 Coldest day of the Winter so far. Thermometer down to 16 above zero. We drove in town this morning. Picked up Dorothy Graner and a young student. Attended Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft this noon. Albert L. Telfor spoke to us about the Good Will Industries. I met with Wallace Hutton's membership committee at 5-15 in Don Adam's office, adjourned at 6-15 and I went on up to Calvary Church to a supper and a meeting of the men of Calvary. They voted to organize a mens group. Arthur Hotchkiss brought me home. Tessie down town today buying a few gifts for Christmas.
