Sunday, December 13, 1931 Rain all day again today. Mother did not go out all day. Her face still bothers her from her tooth extraction. I drove in town to Calvary Church. Taught my mens class in the church school and then attended church service. Mr. Blanton preached a fine sermon. I brought the Graners home with me. We had dinner at home then I went over to Read Street and called on Jim Toole, who is confined to the house with T.B. Poor. I think he is doomed. Mr. Wright of the Spring Glen Church called on me today. They are making their every member canvass for the new year. I gave him a pledge to help along.
