A most beautiful day, clear and mild. Busy all day clearing up loose ends at the store before leaving for St. Paul. Went down town on some errands so got my lunch at the Waldorf Lunch. Left the office a bit early and ran down to the Paramount Theatre to the six o'clock show to see Darivel Mulbery Review of the Yale Football Season in the movies. It was very interesting. We saw the Army, Dartmouth, Harvard, and Princeton games. Saw little Albie Booth do some great running. I went from there over to the new Hall of Records of the City Hall to a hearing on the parking problem. George Eeble brought me home and I worked till one o'clock preparing our Christmas cards for mailing. The Hamden Bank + Trust Co. did not open this morning. The thought is that it is sound but this method will protect the assets.
