Monday, December 21, 1931 Very warm and foggy in Chicago. We are at the home of our dear friends, the Wilby's. We had breakfast together. A little later, I took the electric train on the Illinois Central in to Chicago. I went over to Mr. Wilby's office in the Atlas Cement Building and visiting him there. He took me out to lunch at the Union League Club. We had a shower and swim in the big pool then wrapped up in a big sheet and ate our lunch before getting dressed. It was such a treat. He took me up to the top of the Board of Trade Building. It was so foggy and misty. We could not see anything. We took the train out home and Aunt Mabel had dinner ready for us. We ate quickly and they drove us in to Chicago to the Union Station and took the 6-45 train over the Chicago Milwaukee and St. Paul Road for St. Paul and Sally. We had fine reservations on this fine train. [Prev](1931_12_20.md) - [Next](1931_12_22.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1LC2p38-K4Ird84RSPuaPPGgMwqs7tHux">
