Wednesday, December 23, 1931 At St. Paul. Weather still cloudy and misty and very warm for this time of year in this climate. About 40° average. Mother and I went downtown this morning and did some shopping. Came back and had lunch here at home. This afternoon, I took a long walk and later Peter and I went out and bought the Christmas tree then brought it home and dressed it all up with lights and ornaments. We had dinner here at home and spent the evening visiting all together. This boy surely is a treasure. We do love him so.
