Thursday, December 24, 1931 At St. Paul, Minnesota and the ground covered white with snow, making it most Christmasy. We had breakfast with Sally and Peter then T.P.H., Sally, and Peter went to market to by the Christmas dinner. We are to give them their turkey as Grandpa Peck always gave us our's. Then we all went down town shopping. Had luncheon down town too. Peter brought Mother home in his Ford car and Sally and I came home in a taxi. Peter's father and mother and brother Richard arrived from Mason City, Iowa and we all had dinner here at Sally's. We lighted the Christmas tree so that little Peter Hodges could see the lights. He was fascinated. Later, Mother and Sarah went to church to a 10-30 P.M. service and communion at midnight. We hung up little Peter's stocking and all went to bed. We are to have our gifts tomorrow morning. [Prev](1931_12_23.md) - [Next](1931_12_25.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1VTw9HoLyjZG6SQVTajE5nAURgaUm4D_p">
