In St. Paul, Minn. Still warm weather for this part of country. We all slept late and had breakfast together. Peter came for me at noon and we went down town to Hotel St. Paul and attended luncheon of the St. Paul Rotary Club. District Governor Towey of the Ninth District was making his official visit so was the speaker of the day. He overdid it as he spoke for fifty minutes. I spent the afternoon with Sarah and Little Peter. Sarah took Peter's Ford and Mother, Sally, and I drove out to Minneapolis and had dinner with Arthur and Katie Smith Clark. They are children of New Haven friends of our's and a schoolmate of Sarah's. We did enjoy visiting with them and their two darling children. We arrived home in time to enjoy a visit with Little Peter as he was having his midnight bottle. Bless his dear heart.
