Tuesday, February 3, 1931 Very cold again this morning down to six above zero. Moderated a lot during the day. Attended Rotary luncheon of the New Haven Club at Hotel Taft. Prof William A. Douglas of Yale Law School spoke on our bankruptcy laws. Worked at the office all day long. Tessie and Eleanor Peck called for me at six o'clock and we went down to "Kacey's" restaurant on College Street, opposite the Taft. Had supper then went to Fox College Theatre to the movies. This Fox College is the old Hyperion Theatre, thoroughly renovated and redecorated. We came home right after the show.
