The snow of last night turned to rain this morning and every thing; tree, shrub, and telephone wire is covered with ice. We had breakfast and I drove into town to Calvary Church School, as we were to start a mens class this morning. The storm kept most of them away but eight of us were there and we decided to go along with it. Tessie and Eleanor went over to the Spring Glen Church service, held in the old club house. She liked Mr. Brown, the minister, very much. We had dinner together and spent the afternoon and evening reading, writing letters, and listening to our radio. We tried to call Sally on the telephone at Chicago but she didn't answer. Guess she was out with Peter.
