Mush and slush yet a very beautiful Winter sight out here in Spring Glen. Every tree shrub and telegraph wire covered with snow and ice. We drove into town this morning. New Haven Rotary Club held its regular weekly luncheon and meeting at the Foot Guard Armory on Goff Street. Major John L. Gilson, former Major of the Foot Gaurds and Judge of the Probate Court was the speaker of the day. he spoke of the early colonial days of New Haven. Home tonight to dinner and then to the Spring Glen Club to a board meeting. A serious matter came before us - that of a member who was drunk at one of the dances. It was voted that he be asked to come before the Board of Governors and show cause why he should not be expelled.
