Tuesday, February 17, 1931 Warm and drizzly. Tessie took Eleanor Peck to the station and put her on the train for home. We have enjoyed her sojourn with us. Attended luncheon of New Haven Rotary Club at Hotel Taft this noon. Mr. Charles Morres spoke on "Yale and Taxation". He set forth the benefits of having Yale in our midst. Sister Lillian and Ralph Fox stopped off on their way home from Aunt Mame's anniversary. They called at the store and later went out to Violette's. Tessie came to the office for me about 8-45 P.M. and we went out to Violette's to see them. They left for Washington D.C. on the midnight train.
