Friday, January 2, 1931 Very cold this morning, about 10° above. Went into the office this morning after an absence of ten days. Worked all day taking care of my correspondence. Found a lot more Christmas cards on my desk. Found that Mr. Chamberlain and Mrs. Wood had taken care of everything splendidly. Girls are picking up No. 1 Book began last Wednesday, Dec 31st. Came home on the trolly car. Our car is taken down. George is working on it. Helped Tess change the furniture around in our living room to its Winter location.
