Monday, January 5, 1931 Cloudy and warmer this morning. Rain this afternoon and evening. Had lunch at Quinnipiack Club and changed the slippers that Tessie gave me for my Christmas present. They are so nice. Went over to Charles P. Walker's office this afternoon and planned for a committee meeting regarding the pastor for Calvary Church. Came home tonight on the trolly. George has not yet finished working on our car. We had supper and I worked all evening writing up Wall Paper orders.
