Tuesday, January 6, 1931 Rain today and very slippery. My neighbor Maconie took me in town in his car this morning and it was treacherous driving. Attended weekly luncheon of the New Haven Rotary Club at the Hotel Taft. Got my supper in town then worked on my Wall Paper records till about nine o'clock. Came home on the trolly car.
