Sunday, January 11, 1931 A beautiful Winter day. I got up and drove the little old "Puddle Jumper" in to Calvary Church. I taught the mens class at church school, also remained for church. Mr. Cleverdon preached. Charles Walker, Thomas Richardson, and I met with Mr. Cleverdon after service and invited him to fill the pulpit until July 1st, 1931. He is to let us know. I drove down to St. Paul's Church and picked up T.M.P. She attended service there. We came home and had dinner at home. We then drove in town and had tea with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Randall, 99 Howe Street. T.P.H. went from there over to Lake Place to call on the Grant Nobles and then on the trolly car home. I went over to Calvary Church to hear Dr. Bevan preach. We called up Sally on long distance at Chicago. She is feeling pretty well and feel sure now that baby is on the way. --- (This is the first use of "T.M.P.", almost certainly "Theresa Marie Peck" from context.)
