Sunday, January 25, 1931 Cloudy and raw. We slept late then had breakfast. Then Eleanor Peck and I drove in to Calvary Church to service. After church, we called at Lake Place for Grant and Helen Noble also Grant Noble Jr. and brought them out to dinner. Ed and Alice Cole also came out. Mother had one of her famous turkey dinners and how they did enjoy it. Later Aletha and Larry and Nancy Stone called for a while. I took Grant into Canner Street for a conference and took Helen and Grant Jr. home. I wrote Sarah at Chicago and Aunt Mame at Gardner, Mass.
