Monday, January 26, 1931 A beautiful day just like a Spring day. Man here at the house all day putting weather strips on the balance of the windows. Joseph Smith was in today and told me that I had passed the insurance physical examination all right. Tessie and Eleanor called for me at the office and we came out home and had dinner here. We then drove over on Santa Fe Avenue and looked at Harry Noble's model house. I then worked till midnight on Wall Papers price lists. Clayton was to bring Violette home today from Springfield. She is recovering from an operation for appendicitis. Dr. Sweet performed it.
